Mandala Medicine is a four-day immersion in the philosophy, practice, and ceremony of Buddhist spell craft.
Four days. Spell craft, sacred ground, and fire. Northumberland, 27 to 30 August 2026.
Every morning begins with 90 mis of yoga that gets the energy moving before the mind catches up.
Then we spend the afternoons going deeper.
Songs and mantras run through all four days. The kind you carry home in your body.
-
Day one opens the Mandala Medicine teachings, and you begin working with Shamatha, the art of the settled mind.
-
Day two deepens the five-direction medicine wheel and introduces Vipassana, the practice of clear seeing.
-
Day three moves into protector work, sacred offerings, and Shunyata, the ground underneath everything. By the time you arrive at Deity Yoga on day four, something has already shifted.
-
Day four is entirely outdoors. You spend the full day moving through sacred sites across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear. Forests first. Then coastline. A ceremony at each location. Fire to close.
Most people who come to Mandala Medicine describe it as a before and after. That is what tends to happen when practice is transmitted rather than described.
-
You leave with a working knowledge of Buddhist mandala formation you can use in your practice from day one. You leave with bodhicitta as a lived orientation that protects you, not as a concept you once heard in a workshop. You will have met the protectors of the dharma and your personal protector as a direct encounter. You will know how to use sacred smoke and offerings and what each one actually means. You carry direct lineage transmission of mantras from Jambo and his teachers going all the way back to the source.
