Meet Your Teacher

Jambo Truong

Jambo Truong received his first formal initiation connected with Guanyin at the age of fourteen. During this early training he learned to recite mantras and sutras and began a daily meditation discipline focused on the cultivation of compassion. This practice continued throughout his life and formed the foundation of his work within the spiritual arts. Over the years Jambo has received teachings and transmissions connected with several traditions devoted to the compassionate presence known across cultures as Chenrezig, Guanyin, and Avalokiteśvara. He holds transmission within the Mao Shan thousand arm Kwan Yin practice and is recognised as a heart son of Kharchen Wangchuk Rinpoche. Through these lineages he is fully trained in guiding Chenrezig based healing and compassion practices. The integration of lineage training together with family traditions has shaped Jambo’s approach to teaching. Rather than presenting these methods purely as philosophy or ritual, he emphasises the embodiment of practice. Students are guided through traditional methods of mantra, meditation, and devotion while also learning how compassion can be integrated into daily life. This approach reflects the intention of the traditions themselves. Mantra, meditation, and visualisation create the foundation. Embodiment and integration allow the deeper stages of the practice to unfold naturally. The Compassion Mandala practice offered here serves as an accessible entry point into the living field of Kwan Yin practice. For many practitioners it becomes the beginning of a deeper journey into the mandala of compassion.
