Alchemy in Motion is a clinical movement methodology that applies therapeutic reasoning inside movement sequencing so the body feels organised before effort begins.

Yoga teachers graduate with the skills of a yoga therapist. Personal trainers graduate with the tools of a movement specialist. Pilates instructors, physiotherapists, bodyworkers, the Movement Recode Method applies to every body you work with, in every context you work in.

One training. One certification. The lens changes everything.

This is not just a course about understanding the body. It is a training in reading it, in real time, under load, across every segment from ground to eye. The full axial stack: ground contact, intra-abdominal pressure, hip rotation, ribcage, shoulder, neck, jaw, eye deviation.

Each segment reveals information about every other. You will learn to see the whole chain in a single standing pose, a single breath, a single step.

This is not a style. It is a method rooted in biomechanics and somatic intelligence.

Rather than asking the body to perform first and recover later, this work teaches you how to organise breathing, alignment, and coordination so movement becomes efficient, sustainable, and precise. You will assess, apply, integrate, and teach. In that order. Every time.

BY THE END OF THIS TRAINING YOU WILL:

Sit with a client, read how their body is moving, apply corrective strategies specific to what you saw, and build sequences that produce measurable change. You will guide people through movement that reorganises the nervous system rather than only stretching it.

WHAT YOU WILL STUDY

Breathing. Pelvis. Hips internal and external rotation. Hips extension and flexion. Lower back, glutes, and core. Thoracic spine. Shoulder stability. Shoulder mobility. Neck. Knees. Ankles. Wrists. Compensation patterns including jaw, eyes, and diaphragm.

Part 1, Grounding (28 Nov, 19 Dec)

You learn how to ground, because a grounded base is what lets the rest of the structure balance. We trace how ground force travels up the deep longitudinal sling, through the hamstring, sacrotuberous ligament and thoracolumbar fascia into the spine, and how the deep front line connects the arches of the feet to the pelvic floor, diaphragm and jaw.

Part 2, Shifting your hips (30 Jan, 27 Feb)

You discover which way your hips prefer to rotate, then learn the drills that teach them to rotate the other way, bringing the pelvis back toward centre. We follow the hip into the posterior oblique sling, where glute max links across the back to the opposite lat and shoulder, and into the lateral sling, where the side of the hip pairs with the opposite adductors and the waist.

Part 3, The feet (27 Mar, 24 Apr)

Feet locked in their old bias keep pulling the hips back into it, so correction takes far longer. This part frees the feet so the hip work holds. We follow the spiral line from the stirrup under the arch up to the pelvis and across the body, and trace how the big toe at push off relates to the opposite shoulder.

Part 4, Rib turns (29 May, 26 Jun)

Rib rotation drives shoulder mobility, shoulder strength and your rotational patterns. We work the anterior oblique sling across the front of the trunk, the spiral line wrapping from rhomboids through serratus into the obliques, and the arm lines, so you see how a rib turn shows up in the opposite hip, the neck and the jaw.

Part 5, Which way are you lateralised? (31 Jul, 28 Aug)

You map which side your body organises around. We read that bias along the lateral line and lateral sling from ankle to skull, and follow it all the way up into jaw and eye deviation.

Part 6, Case studies (25 Sep, 30 Oct)

You bring it all together on real bodies, reading the slings and meridians as one connected system and working through actual clients as a group.

HOW THE TRAINING WORKS

Theory lands the same day you move through it. You test, you drill, you learn the mechanics of what you just felt, and you leave with a month to work it into your own body before the next day.

THE FULL PROGRAMME

Online cohort starting Saturday 28 November 2026, running a full year.

Twelve training days, one a month, four and a quarter hours each. The day starts with your sequences. You write one every month, and we take a selection apart live so the whole cohort watches how a sequence gets read, sharpened, and matched to a real body. The live class runs next. Ninety minutes of testing and drilling, the drill chosen for what your own structure is doing. The anatomy and biomechanics lecture closes the day. Ninety minutes on what you just moved through, while the sensation is still there to hang it on. The month between is yours. Practise the drills, take another person through the tests, write the next sequence. All sessions recorded and yours to keep.

THE FULL PROGRAMME

Online cohort starting Saturday 28 November 2026, running a full year. Twelve training days, one a month, four and a quarter hours each.

  • WEEK 1

90 minute live class where you take a test and a drill matched to your own body.

  • WEEK 2

90 minute lecture on the anatomy and biomechanics of that month's topic.

  • WEEK 3+4

60 minute brain storm: write a movement sequence for yourself, then the cohort reviews a selection of submissions live, breaking down what works, what to sharpen, and how to read the cases that do not fit the textbook.

WHO THIS IS FOR

From yoga teacher to yoga therapist. From personal trainer to rehab specialist. From bodyworker to movement clinician.

Practitioners who have done the training, done the hours, and can feel that something still is not landing at a deeper level. Movement therapists ready for subtle anatomy. Bodyworkers who want sequencing that holds science and the sacred in one hand. Yoga teachers, trainers and clinicians who suspect their model is missing something and have not been able to name it. From yoga teacher to yoga therapist. From personal trainer to rehab specialist. From bodyworker to movement clinician.
